2008

Some updates from 2007:

I quit my job at Asus. (Yeah!) Couldn't stand the long working hours anymore. And more ever they moved to Changi Biz Park, so blardy farrrr... Get home only after 11pm, and morning got to wake up so early too. Affecting my health!

So yeah, I'm officially jobless now!

Darling went to Philippines to work for 1 month. The 1 month was pure torture without him.. I'm glad he's back!

Discovering my ex-colleague is the owner of Tea Party, what a coincidence! - I missed her fried mushrooms already~~

Amy is (finally) proposed to by her bf =P Can't wait to see her in a wedding dress..

Enjoying afternoons alone at home catching up with friends. Been neglecting them when I was working in Asus X( *Oh.. I'm doin this in 2008 too haha..

Celebrated darling's birthday + new year at Avillion, Port Dickson.

The resort was beautiful~ We had a premium water chalet, and enjoyed every min of it!

Our room 516

Relaxing by the day bed

It was so blissful sleeping by this bed, feeling the sea breeze on ur body and the gentle sound of the waves and the birds flying past..

Romantic 'open-air' bathroom

We listened to soft music and soak in the bathtub filled with bubbles. The free house wine in our package was so disgusting, we filled the bathtub with the red wine and soaked in it. Haha.. Heard soaking in red wine is beneficial to the skin and complexion. There is even a red wine hot spring in Japan!

30th Dec 07 - Darling's Birthday Dinner @ Crow's Nest

Starters - Can you see the love shaped magarine? =)

Prawn Appetizer

Baked Pumpkin Soup

Mint Sorbet

Main Course - I had baked salmon, he had grilled chicken. The chicken is sooo much nicer!

Finally, dessert! We were stuffed~

Very very good dinner, everything was delicious. The waiters are so attentive and professional. 2 thumbs up! The dinner is 90rm per person, which I feel is very worth it!

Back to the hotel to soak in our loaded-with-food glory~

Pet Farm

Me with chicken - I was terrified!

Him - Such a natural with babelicious chicks

Feeding the doves - That's the butt darling, not the head

All of them fighting for my hand - What can I say? :P

Bunny bunny~

Posing with the roosters

What luck! I have only seen peacocks with their tail fully opened twice in my life!
Shake your tail feathers baby~

Riau Beach:

Temasek Beach:

Temasek beach is more private and clean.. Riau beach dirtier and can see alot of malay families there. Water sports is found in Riau beach though, but very expensive! RM200 for a jetski for 30mins. These are private operators. The resort operators only operate at certain tide timings and are free (I think). But I did not see them at all in all the days I've been there.

There are many many crabs in Temasek beach!! Can see their little holes all over the beach. You need to stand very very still and don't make any noise before they will come out of their home. When they detect any movement from you they immediately rush back.. Very funny!

Took a taxi to the lighthouse at Cape Rachardo. Follow by a climb to the top. Unfortunately the entrance to the lighthouse is closed. I went there bcos I tot can go up the lighthouse to see the scenery.. Too bad. Anyway, the scenery is gorgeous.. Alot of birds (I think they are swallows) flying around. So peaceful.

On the way to the top (Look like bt timah hill hor)

Finally reached the top after 20mins of climbing!

Beautiful scenery~

The closed lighthouse

Naughty Monkeys! Got 1 threw a coconut at me, but luckily missed!! Grrr...

After a tiring climb, went to eat seafood!! Yummy~~ Taxi driver recommended this famous restaurant and dropped us there. Indeed, we can see alot of KL cars come here and eat.
We had sweet and sour lala, belachan crabs, sambal potato leaves and steamed fish = RM77!!!!

Xi Wang Restaurant

Belachan Crab - I ate all by myself!! Hao Xin Fu~

Enormous Lala

He ate the fish all by himself too!

Xi Wang Seafood, good and value for $$!

Back to resort for more photo whoring!

Wanna come join me? ;P

Admiring the babes on the beach

After our bath, off we went to admire the sunset!

New Year's Eve Dinner Buffet

Dinner was great, many varieties of food. Although abit exp at 180rm per person. Lucky we went early and took alot of salmon. Halfway through the whole plate was gone!

The party was okok only.. Mainly becos they keep playing those boring techno songs.. Halfway they change to those rock oldies.. Yawnz~ The only time I joined in was when they played YMCA and we had to do the hand signals.

Supposed to be a pool party but only a handful jumped down - and they did so only becos of the prize.

We left shortly after midnight.

My massage was good, but not great. My masseuse keep on burping when massaging me. So irritating. And I don't like the masseur in the room when I have to remove the sarong and lie down on the bed.

All in all, a good place to relax. Staffs were very very friendly, kept smiling and on new year's day, they will greet you with a 'Happy New Year' :)

My next destination? Pangkor Laut Resort or The Racha in Phuket or Palau? Hehe..

Bathroom in Hill Villa @ Pangkor Laut

Pool Villa @ The Racha

Beautiful beaches in Palau
