I just received an email from Lifestyle with the subject - Is he Mr. Right? I thank whoever up there that I am over this terrible phrase of re-affirming myself with all these articles online. I used to keep reading guides on how to know if it's true love, how to know if he is the one for you etc, now I realised - when you're truly happy with him, you don't bother reading all these nonsense. Wasted so much of my time hanging over him. Now I'm so glad I got someone who truly loves me, and is worthy of my love, my time, and my life. And that he chose me to spend his life with.

Such fate, such coincidences. Will never have imagined a guy so different will complement me so well.

It's your birthday tomorrow. This time last year we went to Port Dickson to have a short getaway for your birthday cum new year's celebration. Do you still remember the long walks we have down the beach, admiring the sunsets, playing with the crabs, picking seashells (you always have such a knack for finding the most beautiful ones), and us surrounded by the silk canopy and candles. It seems like it happened only recently. Fortunately, we did not make much plans for this year as we have to cut back on spending for our wedding. Nevertheless I wanted to go The Racha or Sabah with you this year. So much plans.. Greece, Pangkor Laut, New Caledonia, Bhutan, Caribbean, Palau, Scotland, Japan. We made so much plans but how scary it was for it all to be destroy in 1 moment.

Well, at least your dream of buying a house for your parents came true. I'm happy and satisfied already =)

Hi Darling,

It's been nearly a month since you were gone. How are you? I've been thinking about you everyday, and on some days I feel ok, but some days it's not so good. Today is 1 of those days, I miss you so much.

Watching Friends helps alot, never fails to crack me up. And I got a little puppy too, a toy poodle - you know, what I always wanted - but its apricot color instead of red. Belle is so cute, but I'm having some difficulties training it. On those days when I'm sitting beside the cage, waiting for her to pee or poo, I keep wishing you are sitting by my side. I will close my eyes and imagine I'm leaning on your shoulders, saying nothing at all, just both of us waiting for her to do her business. And I know you are there, by my side.

I feel really, really blessed that you have been in my life. You made me look forward to the future, and made so many plans for us. You also taught me that love, expects no returns. You have done so much for me, but I kept bullying you, getting upset over small things. But you took it in your stride, never complaining. The least I could do was to be a good wife to you, devote my entire life to you. But little did I know that you did not expect me to do that too. Mon was my official start date, although I have been working for 1 week + liao. Been very very busy since the 1st day of my job. This is the first time I am sooo busy on 1st day. Most co will let you take your time to get use to the place, the culture but nooo... On the 2nd day I start to do OT liao.. All through the whole week's event, everyday OT. Haiz..

My 2nd week this week, and they are already preparing to hand over 4 events for me to handle. Not sure if I can do it.. But I will jia you! >.<

Only thing keeping me going is planning to go somewhere during the Vesak day hols.. As long as I can get out of SG, I'm happy. Lang Tengah or Perhentian or Redang? KL not that keen leh.. Shop and shop.. nothing to do :(

Having a very bad day today. NTU called me to submit my edu certs. I have already submitted everything when I went for 2nd interview. So mafan and inefficient. My CS2 dunno why suddenly tell me my license expired. Found CS3 to install but comp could not read the disc. Had to restart and wipe my disc before it can be read. Dinner, my chickenrice all bones. No meat. Only ate rice. Coffeebean points expired 2 days ago. Signed up for the event reminder from Coffeebean but they did not send the email to me so I missed the last day to redeem.

Shit. Fuck. Just go away. I'm starting to really hate you.

Went to the Tea Party again yesterday. Was supposed to meet Weiling in JP when I was on the way back. When walking to JP I saw Ee Lee from my sec sch. Such a surprise and I felt that it was a sign for me to meet up with my sec sch frens. So I called Sear Li and asked her to join us for chit chat. Had a great time catching up and left Tea Party at about 1.45am. I finally had my roast duck pizza!!

Yesterday met up with Debbie and Gene at Tea Party for dinner again. Hehe I love that place!
I tried their scones~ Omg its really good! Pauline was so shocked when I told her I have not tried their scones before.. They are famous for that! Haha.. I had the choc chip scone with strawberry cream cheese~ Yummy!!

Their friend Ji Koon came to join us at about 10pm. His work is very interesting, he is in re-insurance. His company insures insurance companies. Interesting right! I din know that insurance companies need insurance too. Haha..

We chatted till about 12.30am. What a night! Great conversation and great food~

Pauline made us prawn aglio without the pasta. Mama mia~ We had a couple of drinks when Ji Koon came. Pauline made us a special concoction, milo martini! Haha.. But I still prefer the lychee martini.. :P

Finally we found not 1, but 3 more couples to sign up together for the PS! So happy!! Wooohooo!

Have tentatively booked 1st - 3rd April 09. Waiting for airfare promos before confirming the date and booking the air ticket. Planning to stay in banyan tree for awhile after the PS to relax~ Hahaha!

This week will be darling's last week at work. And today is my sister's TP. Will she pass? Haha.. Will be fetching her later after her test. Wishing her all the best!

Met up with Amy last thurs. We 2 hiao po-s went to marina square to try on WG-s hahaha.. First I tried an off shoulder victorian type - peek-a-boo lace at the chest area and pinched skirt made from duchess satin. So lovely, and the off shoulder part conceals my fatty arms!

Next the lady recommend to try this gorgeous tube dress with long train~ Wow I felt like a princess! I love the details on the top and bottom part of the dress. Floral designs with diamantes. And at the back there is this beautiful ribbon with diamond studded buckle in champagne gold. Soooo pretty!! The ribbon is very long, almost the same length as the train. I love it. Hope I can find an even better WG in their HQ.. >.<

Darling got an overseas contract already. So proud and happy for him. Finally his career is taking flight, and is earning what he is suppose to. Of cos this also means a start of LDR, but I'm sure we can make it. He has been going overseas for projects too, but not this long though..

It's a 1 yr contract, so by the time he comes back just nice to go for our PS next march.. Hehe.. I must also jia you to find a new job! Gambatte!!

Just signed up last weekend @ JP wedding fair for WhiteLink bridal package.. Quite expensive but at least I lock-in the price now before they increase again next year. Heard good comments about their WG-s.. So keeping my fingers crossed as I have not seen their WG in person before. I like their makeup too, very natural. Anyway, since already paid, shall not think more about it. At least I settled my AD services already.

Now headache PS.. We have been looking around for 1 more couple to sign up together with us so can enjoy 20% discount.. Hope can find the 4th couple soon!!

And just received quotation from PG for AD service.. Wah $2k leh.. Haiz everything so exp.. Not including VG lor.. Zzzzz

Anyway, on a bright side, darling bought me potato chips yesterday cos I casually remarked the previous night that I long time no eat Lay's le.. Wahahaha So happy and touched that he remembered, and even took the effort to go 7-11 buy for me when he injured his leg.. ( T ^ T )

Went for dinner and lou hei yesterday with my ex-colleagues from UOB. Had such a great time! Fabulous company, conversations and delicious food.

The buffet is value for $$ too! About $30 for a person. They have Japanese, Chinese, and English food. Sharkfin, abalone with fish maw, sashimi and such a wide variety of desserts!

Although the quantity of food is not as much as Ritz Carlton's (which is my fav buffet hangout), the quality is on par. Not bad considering $80(RC) vs $30(GPR).

My mu nui, Kelly is going for lasik today. Hope everything will go well!

Made dinner for my darling - Teriyaki Salmon, chicken soup, & for dessert, white chocolate strawberry cheesecake~

Went to JP to buy the ingredients, but they ran out of salmon! Had to go to another market to get the salmon.. My uncle was coming to deliver a cabinet for us, so he gave me a ride! Lucky!

My first attempt at making cheesecake.. and I love it! Darling says the salmon is his favourite dish.. My first attempt at oven broiling too, luckily everything turns out ok.. Hehe..

Been soooo busy packing, painting and unpacking! Nothing can prepare me for the amount of dust behind my bed!!! It's like 3 inches thick man! My Gawd~~

Threw out many many rubbish too. So much hidden junk everywhere.

Repainted the whole house. Love the colors, look so fresh!

My new room color is a nice peachy pink - the shades of pink looks different with different lightings. My room looks either peachy or pale pink or bright pink at different times of the day!
Combined with my very own stencil design, I have to say it looks great! Love it!

I've also just started experimenting with fake lashes. Took me about 5mins to put my very first pair on. But I have to admit it looks great, but needs a little getting use to.

Bought it @ girllashes.multiply.com. She's a great seller, very friendly and took the time to explain the method and tips to put on the lashies. She even went to SaSa with me to get the glue!

Some updates from 2007:

I quit my job at Asus. (Yeah!) Couldn't stand the long working hours anymore. And more ever they moved to Changi Biz Park, so blardy farrrr... Get home only after 11pm, and morning got to wake up so early too. Affecting my health!

So yeah, I'm officially jobless now!

Darling went to Philippines to work for 1 month. The 1 month was pure torture without him.. I'm glad he's back!

Discovering my ex-colleague is the owner of Tea Party, what a coincidence! - I missed her fried mushrooms already~~

Amy is (finally) proposed to by her bf =P Can't wait to see her in a wedding dress..

Enjoying afternoons alone at home catching up with friends. Been neglecting them when I was working in Asus X( *Oh.. I'm doin this in 2008 too haha..

We listened to soft music and soak in the bathtub filled with bubbles. The free house wine in our package was so disgusting, we filled the bathtub with the red wine and soaked in it. Haha.. Heard soaking in red wine is beneficial to the skin and complexion. There is even a red wine hot spring in Japan!

Riau Beach:

Temasek Beach:

Temasek beach is more private and clean.. Riau beach dirtier and can see alot of malay families there. Water sports is found in Riau beach though, but very expensive! RM200 for a jetski for 30mins. These are private operators. The resort operators only operate at certain tide timings and are free (I think). But I did not see them at all in all the days I've been there.

There are many many crabs in Temasek beach!! Can see their little holes all over the beach. You need to stand very very still and don't make any noise before they will come out of their home. When they detect any movement from you they immediately rush back.. Very funny!

Took a taxi to the lighthouse at Cape Rachardo. Follow by a climb to the top. Unfortunately the entrance to the lighthouse is closed. I went there bcos I tot can go up the lighthouse to see the scenery.. Too bad. Anyway, the scenery is gorgeous.. Alot of birds (I think they are swallows) flying around. So peaceful.

After a tiring climb, went to eat seafood!! Yummy~~ Taxi driver recommended this famous restaurant and dropped us there. Indeed, we can see alot of KL cars come here and eat.
We had sweet and sour lala, belachan crabs, sambal potato leaves and steamed fish = RM77!!!!

New Year's Eve Dinner Buffet

Dinner was great, many varieties of food. Although abit exp at 180rm per person. Lucky we went early and took alot of salmon. Halfway through the whole plate was gone!

The party was okok only.. Mainly becos they keep playing those boring techno songs.. Halfway they change to those rock oldies.. Yawnz~ The only time I joined in was when they played YMCA and we had to do the hand signals.

Supposed to be a pool party but only a handful jumped down - and they did so only becos of the prize.

We left shortly after midnight.

My massage was good, but not great. My masseuse keep on burping when massaging me. So irritating. And I don't like the masseur in the room when I have to remove the sarong and lie down on the bed.

All in all, a good place to relax. Staffs were very very friendly, kept smiling and on new year's day, they will greet you with a 'Happy New Year' :)

My next destination? Pangkor Laut Resort or The Racha in Phuket or Palau? Hehe..

It was great meeting up with the anime gang again~ It's been such a long time since we last met up.

The layout of the festival has changed, it used to have the food and games stalls in the grass field surrounding the stage. This year they had the stalls on the school compound! I feel that having it on the field itself is better cause you can soak up the atmosphere. But this year everything was seperated and the smoke from the food stalls was terrible as there is no open space to ventilate.

Left at about 8+pm and met up with Johnny in Expo. We went to East Coast park Mac for supper and taught Johnny to use photoshop for his school project.

Following that we went to catch Evan Almighty at Tampines mall. The show starts at 12.15am but in GV there is always a 20mins boring advertisement marathon. Reached TM at ard 12.20am and was so pissed at the ticketing counter: Stood at the visa priority queue but no one served us! No choice but to queue at the normal ticket line and when its our turn I asked the counter girl "Here no priority queue?" What's the use of having the banner there den? Luckily we did not missed out too much of the movie. Am thinking of writing in to complain.

Movie was ok, quite funny but not memorable. But I really liked the part where God said: "When people pray for patience, do God give them patience? Or give them the opportunity to be patient?"

I was watching "爱上小红点 Little Red Dot" just now on Channel U, and I'm glad it's over. For the past few episodes the hosts kept asking those storeowners to reveal the location of the red ball by telling them that they do not want to mess up their store, or letting them take up too much of their time to do business etc.

I felt ashamed by this show - it just totally reveals Singaporeans' kiasu-ism. It demostrated perfectly how we only think of winning in our mind. Why can't the host just enjoy the process of searching, and the fun of discovering something new? We do not know how to sit back and enjoy the process, we seek only to win. Where is the joy of winning, when only winning is the answer? You do not learn nor gain anything in the process. The greatest joy of winning is only after you have travelled the journey to it, only than you will experience the exhilaration of the pursue.

Another thought came to my mind just than. How did this happen? Who made this happen? Why are we so self-absorbed we totally neglect to appreciate our surroundings? Is it our government? Is it our way of life? What is wrong with my country? What went wrong?

The only picture I could get of Singapore, is a dark street, filled only with zombies that have been brain-washed, where every single thing have been decided by someone. We do not question authority because we were trained to think only for ourselves. And over a single free bread, we will fight amongst ourselves, irregardless whether we really need it, never stopping to think that that single bread, can pull someone else away from death's door or make a difference between life and death.

I asked Khim, have you ever met someone who is proud of being a Singaporean?

I pondered.

The reason why we are not proud of our own country is because we do not make the decisions that effect our own economy. We cannot decide for ourselves what makes this country bloom. We do not impact our country! How should we be proud of it? Everything is decided by someone else and put to motion by someone else, we are not a part of it. How can we be proud of something we are not responsible for? How can we stand for Singapore when we do not stand for ourselves?

It's another boring day here at work.. Skype is not working, and I forgot to bring out my hp charger so cannot listen to music. Grrr.. Been surfing Coach's website whole day, I wanna buy but they don't accept Vpost address leh~ Damn sian. Only way is to use Comgateway, but very expensive! Shipping will cost around $15-$20 per bag. Last few days has been very busy. My colleagues from taiwan came down to train us & have been bringing them around SG to sightsee & eat. Yesterday went to orchard to gaigai & for dinner I brought them to east coast to eat. I like the work environment here.. No boss & no one to watch over us as our boss all in TW haha. The girls are more my age (but of cos I'm still the youngest, as usual.. & they say I'm oso the youngest in TW!)

Lunch time very relax, can go anytime come back anytime. But if you come back too late & cannot finish your work den of cos u got to go back late oso. But the thing I dun like is the whole system is in chinese! & not just chinese, is in TRAD CHINESE!!

Ahhh... lucky got internet can go babelfish & translate haha.. And of course the electronic chinese dictionary my ex-colleagues got for me as a farewell gift helps alot too!

Went to billy bomber's in bugis for my farewell party.. Had lots of fun! Took alot of pictures oso haha.. Kelly, my 'mu niu' (as she is oso born in the year of cow, so she is my mother cow & I am her baby cow kaka) bought me a babyG watch too.. I feel paiseh cos she really dote on me alot. She always buy coffeebean for me, buy currypuff & alot of things for me. Like annasui lipstick & a cow soft toy.. So I bought an NDS for her cos I know she wanna buy to play with her son! ^^V

On the last day she oso brought me to sichuan resturant for lunch on UOB 60th floor. Peach garden's food is much nicer.. But their famous sichuan tou hua is really really delicious!!! The touhua just melt in your mouth lor.. Dunno how they do it. It really jus... melts... Dunno how to explain hahaha

new job.. and new food!

I accepted the job at ASUS technology. Starting on 2nd July 2007, which I feel is a good number - all 2s & 7s! First 3 months is probation, after probation my basic will increase 100+ depending on performance. So I need to gambatte! Basic during probation is $1900. So meaning tat after probation I will get at least 2k.

But just received news yday abt my increment in UOB. My performance increment is $109, plus the yearly increment $100 = $210 (they round up). If I stay in UOB my basic will be $1910 leh... Abit regret did not bargain for more. But I think 1.9 was the highest they can give le. Haiz.. but I join another company is bcos of the learning opportunity! Life in UOB sucks.. So, a decision is made. Dun look back!

Glad all my friends are moving on. Amy *may* be starting a new job soon? Hehe.. & Wendy oso found a new job. Growing up together liao.. Maybe nxt phrase is discussing our marriage plans together?? Kaka..

Ate at Peach Garden @ OCBC centre, 33rd floor last wednesday! And best of all, it was FOC! Yeah u heard it right - FREE OF CHARGE! MUAHAHAHAHA....!!! Turns out one of our customers is 1 of the boss over there, & he requested my colleague to bring his documents to him during lunch as he was having a meeting. And me & my colleague alrdy planned to haf lunch together, so he said its ok just bring me along! So while we were walking there we kept discussing whether or not he will treat us to lunch hahaha..

When we reached there, OMG the place was soooo class, I feel sooooo out of place. We were waiting for him at the reception area & my colleague was trying to call him on his mobile. So I looked around & realised that all the customers were on reservation basis. And they were all like power businesswomen, japanese businessmen, tai tais, bosses & rich people.

My colleague couldnt reach him on his mobile, so guessed he was in a meeting. Den we went to ask the waitress we were looking for their boss, & they said they were expecting us. The table is already prepared. Wahahaha I feel so VIP! *^_^*

After we were seated he came over & told us he already prepared everything & the food already ordered for us! And he say not to worry abt anything, just enjoy the food.. The food is really delicious leh... First course was a starter, roasted dunno pork or duck meat. The skin was so crispy & the meat was wonderfully tender.. Roasted to perfection~ Too bad I dun haf picture of that because another of the boss came over to say hello to us. And she told us that our 2 Wee-s (UOB chairman - father Mr Wee Ee Chau & son Mr Wee Ee Chong) are their regulars. Always engage them for cater for their private events. More wows....!! My mouth literally dropped to the floor at tat time lolx...

Next course was winter melon soup. Very interesting presentation. They use the whole baby wintermelon & remove the top, scope out the center part and brew the soup inside. Inside the soup got abalone, fish maw, crab meat, some chinese herbals things which I have no doubt is expensive..

Next up, a fish. Dunno wat fish. The flesh was soooooooo tender & soooooooo juicy & just soooooooooooo delicious! The white, only slightly fried fish with a hint of soy sauce.. Is the most most most uber delicious fish I have tasted in my whole life! The waitress told us is 'lu yu'. But I oso dunno wat fish is tat. Anyone has any idea? Is the most damn delicious fish I have ever tasted!!!

3rd course is LOBSTER NOODLE~~ And its my first time eating lobster lor. Ok la, not too bad. Like clayfish only slighter sweeter & more Q-er. Best part is the boss remove the shell for us leh wahahahahaaa.. So shiok so VIP!

After that still gt dessert one. But we were alrdy running late & paiseh oso eat so many things. So we told them dessert no need, just give us the bill *must gey gey abit oso mah*.. Den the waitress I think dunno we no need to pay de, den she gave us the bill... $131.92 lor... *piangz* Den luckily the other boss saw & den told us we dun haf to pay.. Den when we going their 2 lady bosses gave us their namecards, & told us to come again..

Wow.. What a lunch! I will treasure that experience & keep it for the rest of my life..

Interview @ Asus

Just went for an interview last thursday @ Asus Technology. Basically the job scope is like purchasing & doing follow-up with the sales team. I need to open LC, do documentations & liase with customers, sales & the factory in China, Taiwan, Holland & Europe to organise the shipment details. Sounds interesting & I can put what I learnt in UOB to good use! Hehe..

But my parents & colleague told me my expected salary I put too low.. I put $2000 in my resume. They say shld put at least $2300 leh.. Den I went home & calculate, my current salary plus my bonus etc, I must get at least $2200 den wont lugi leh.. Gah~~

I plan to tell them that I just got my increment letter so I need to have at least $2300. But thinking that with my age & not that much experience.. dunno whether is it asking for too much..? =(

Anyway, 2nd interview next week. No use worrying now! Going to watch Pirates of the Carribean later tonight @ 12.30am GVMax. I know very late! Somemore almost a 3hr show. This is the only show which have slots left.. The show at 9.30 fully book till row B lor. So boh pian..

Wow... My last post was on 2nd Sept last yr! Been too tired & lazy to update.. :P

I'll be going to Redang from 4th - 7th May. Staying at Berjaya & traveling by air. Have been lemming to go there since watching Xia Ri Mo Mo Cha. Very excited! Cant wait!!

Just bought Kenzoki's chilly foaming cleanser last sat. Really good & very very fragant! Suposed to put in the fridge but cannot be bothered to go and take it everytime I bathe. It contains bamboo leaf.

The SA promised that this will help curb my super oily skin, and it really works! Incredible how just a cleanser can improve my skin. My complexion does not shine as much now.. But @ $40 a bottle.. It better have some effect lolx..

Kenzo's skincare range really.. *4 thumbs up* I'm now lemming for their moisturizer. But got to wait till my next paycheck first... =X They also have this kinky fragrant ice cube which melts on the skin.. Hehe.. Interesting ya?

I'm on a reading frenzy right now. There was a book sale @ Jurong Entertainment, 3 books for $10. I and darling bought a total of 10+ books! I am now onto my 4th book - "Not a penny more & not a penny less" By Jeffrey Archer. I love this book! Totally engrossed in this now.

I and darling also struggling to complete the 1000pcs jigsaw puzzle I bought 3yrs ago but till date have not completed..

Watched Phantom of the Opera on April 8th. Props & costume fantastic! But their singing - Not so. Enjoyed Notre Dame's music & vocals much much more. But no pictures cos stupid darling dun wan to lend me his HP to take photo. Argh!

Met up with some friends last saturday @ Waraku in Marina Square. The food there very special & unique. I and darling shared a huge bowl of creamy salmon & ikura udon. The BBQ was fun too! Hehe..

We had a whole room to ourself & you have to take off your shoe b4 stepping in. The table was sunken in and cushions are provided for u to sit on the floor. Very Japan-sy.

Since we are in a room by ourself, there is a bell u can press to 'summon' the staff. By 'summon' I really mean 'summon'.. The longest time they took to reach our room was 5 seconds!! Unbelievable. They actually run to us when they hear the bell. Impressive!

Heard that this is the norm in Japan where they really do 'run' to you when you rise your hand at them.. O.O

Anyway, updates!
1. Was at Tampines the last week as one of my colleagues was on leave.. Need to help cover her. Tampines is totally opposite as compared to H.O.! HO is soooo busy, soooo crowded with soooo many customers! Where else in TM is so relaxing.

Although the journey is longer, but I dun feel as tired! In HO once I get home I will hit the bed & Zzzzzz... No energy to do anything else. But in TM, after work I still can go gai gai in Tampines Mall, and come home can even MSN & blog! Hehe..

2. Went to Phuket from 24th - 28th Sept to celebrate my Bday(in advance). Beautiful place & so slow paced.. Will go back again! For now.. Pictures!

3. My 21st Birthday celebration @ Ritz Carlton. It's been my dream to stay at Ritz Carlton ever since the day I found out that their bathtub has the view overlooking the Marina Bay (like 2 years ago?) Finally I have the perfect excuse to stay! It was really a very tranquil experience.. Reading my novel & sipping champagne while soaking myself in the tub sprinkled with flower petals. Heavenly.. If there is 1 thing I have to complain.. It is that the tub is facing the wrong direction!!! >.<

After some phototaking with the girls.. It's time for my romantic dinner date atop a cable car.. But because someone forgot to take the camera up & left it in the car ah.. So no photos. Only photos are taken from the HP which is not very visible.. :(

I finally got a surprise from darling during my bday. I forced him to give me a surprise! Otherwise everything I expected ah.. So boring leh! He bought me a DS lite for my present.. Hehe.. Really wasnt expecting it! I thought he will buy like a necklace or such. I love it..

Conclusion about Sprees~

Great!! Finally I have distributed all the CCT clothes to everyone. What I can say about this whole thing is that I really pei fu all spree organizers. Organising a spree is really tough! You got to keep chasing for payment, deal with people who hiam with few cents, do up the payment and orders list, keep track of OOS items, liaise and chase the seller for shipment, delivery petrol fee blah blah blah. Too many work! And lets see, I only recv like, 2 Thank you-s from... Pearly and Po Wei?

Anywayssssssssss........... I bought tickets to the french musical Notre-Dame De Paris. It looks good! And hopefully will be better den "Peter Pan". Peter Pan is ok.. But the props and ambience not really fantastic. But nonetheless, the acting by the children were great! I like the part where Captain Hook came down from stage and sat together with the audience in the front row.. Haha.. All in all, this show has great interaction with audience which so far, none of the musicals I saw has ever done. Probably cos this is a musical targeted at children haha..

Ya I know long time no update my blog already.. Cos nothing to update! Everyday is the same old routine.. Weekdays wake up go work, come back eat dinner watch anime or read a book, grumble about wat to wear tomorrow den slp. Weekends like today wake up chat in msn awhile, play some dota, wait for darling to come back den go dinner den slp. HAIZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

Last monday I heard from 1 of my fren from another department that my colledge who joined same time as me and went to tampines have been spreading rumors about me. Saying stuff like I am very ai mu xi rong and I always like to 'bi' (compare) things. I retorted saying yaya I 'bi' my 'xiong' with her. Lolx.. What's strange is tat I am not in the least upset. I dunno why I am so nonchalant about this. Wierd rite? *ponders*

Anyway..

I have 3 more friends who have not taken their clothes! Zi Wei, Pearly and Serina.. I will try to meet up with you guys this week. :)

Went for my induction course at Tampines today. Only 1 word to describe it- Boring~ Imagine attending a lecture for 8hours straight! Gah.. Supposedly we can go off at about 4pm. But there is this stupid activity that dragged the time. We have to all hold on to a string and form a star shape with our eyes blindfolded. Complete waste of time! The discussion went on for like 45mins before they decided on a 'strategy'. *Yawnz*

Today I received a payment of $175.10 into my UOB account. Can that person who transferred the money please email me regarding the breakdown of that payment? Thanks!

Tomorrow got to go to work liao.. Haiz.. So sick of working. So sick of nua-ing. So sick of everything!! Abit depressed today. Feel like my life got no meaning. My dreams all are very hard to attain know why? Cos got no money!! I want to go Japan and study their language, I want to go to Bhutan to experience their culture, I want to travel around the world, be exposed to different kinds of lifestyle, experience what life is like in poor countries. I want to watch volcanos erupt, feel earth shaking beneath my feet, watch all the beautiful wonders of the world and marvel at how each structure is formed over 10s of thousands of years.

I have received the first batch this morning, and looked through the clothes. Well.. Some items are really... Horrible (with a capital H). Totally don't look like the picture shown at the website AT ALL. But there are some that are really nice. Their tops are all nice, just the dresses. The dresses ah.. Some really CMI! Gahhhh...

I just sent the remaining payment to CCT. Luckily the exchange rate did not flucuate much. Remained pretty much the same- 1.64. =) So I think we should recv our orders by end of july? =P

Hi girls,

Thought I would update you all on the status of the order. Right now I only paid the seller USD250, as Paypal had a cap of USD250 on the total transfer amount per month. I have already upgraded my Paypal account at a charge of USD1.95 in order to remove the cap.

Paypal will notify me of a reference number to upgrade my account once they have effected my USD1.95 payment. Right now this USD1.95 is still being earmarked (e.g. the difference between current and available balance) . Meaning that they have not collected the money from UOB so I still do not have the reference number.

Right now I'm still waiting for Paypal to effect the payment so that I can have the reference number to upgrade my account. I have already notified the seller on this.

The additional $2 is to cover any exchange rate increase during this interval.

As for when we will receive the items, well I think it will depend on how long Paypal takes to give me my reference number. Once I transfer the money to CCT, they will ship our orders within 7days. So I guess in about 1-2weeks time we should be able to get our items (provided there is no delay).

So far I have received payment from Shanee, Wendy and Cynthia. Thanks!

Finally completed all the orders from cct-fashion! The whole process took longer den I expected haha.. There was only 1 order that was cancelled and 1 order that was changed as they do not have the color anymore. So far so good.. Hopefully they will still have stock for all the orders!

Right now got to wait for their reply on the exact total cost + shipping. After that I got to email everyone to inform of their individual payment.. Ahh busy busy girl.

My 'split-ed' department

Our department has been spilt into half, 1 group in Tampines and the other half is staying at head office. They say that the spilting is to help reduce work load, but I feel that things are busy as usual. More ever I feel that the processing time has also lengthened- cos the processing department has also spilt into half. Most of the customers do not know that they are supposed to go over to Tamp to collect their documents. So the first week was very hectic. I even got scolded twice!

Stupid pple.. First was this damn impatient guy. He just submitted his notice and wants to collect it. Den after about 15mins he came over to my counter and told me he waited very long, ask the department to hurry up. Since there was no pple in the queue I said ok. I told the processing dept that this is urgent. After I came back, only about 2mins passed he came over again and told me he wants me to rush them again. I told him the dept is rushing alrdy and that I alrdy told them is urgent. Give them some time and let me serve the pple in the queue first. Den he started scolding me "Eh miss! Dun make pple pek chek!!! What you mean u serve others first?? I was here before them!! Dun make pple pek chek you know!!!" Bloody hell.. Lucky the lady I was serving when he came to kpkb was very nice. She stared at him and told me to serve him first, later I come back to her. So I went to the dept and den released the document to that fking guy. Fucking shitty person hope he breaks all his bones in his body.

Another case was this person din know his documents is in tamp. He had alrdy came yday and my senior told him that she will get the tamp branch to send his documents over to head office and call him once his documents arrived. Den he stupidly came over the nxt day and started rising his voice at me. He first ask me to look for his documents, I told him dun haf. Den he started shouting HEY GIRL! You new here! What you mean my documents not in! You dun even know how to check!! My senior heard the commotion den came to help me. So she tried to find out the situation and asked the person who was handling the case. Turns out tampines sent over the wrong document. Thats y she did not call him to collect. Bloody fking guy also. If he could just explain his situation saying that his documents was in tampines and he was waiting for them to send over here can already what!! FUCK HIM BLOODY IDIOT. Hope he also break all his fking bones in his body.

Anyway.. I shall just ignore that 2 pathetic losers. Not worth my time trying to explain to bird brains. On their last day at head office.. We took some pictures. But no pictures of our counter, we wanted to take but paiseh cos outside got customers haha.. and wanted to take when we knock off. But in the end dunno y we forgotten.. Everyone just went home lolx..

My work was ok.. Quite bz at times- not like ABN is busy the whole day. My counter is only busy at lunchtime, and around 4pm. Since this is a totally new industry I am picking things up quite slowly. But now at least I know where all the basic files go. It's those abit more complicated ones like letter with no application forms that I got to be more careful.

My work involves receiving applications from our corporate clients and filing them accordingly, and also when they come to collect documents I have to find for them. Sounds simple right? It's simple only if you have studied this topic before lor.. If not you got to learn from scratch- LC, BL, DA/DP, TR financing blah blah...

My feet damn pain lor.. Got to stand most of the time with high heels! I think I got to bring a slipper there liao. My balls on my feet swollen now.. Walking barefooted is quite painful for me >.<

Oh ya.. 1 more thing. I will be working in raffles le~ Yipee~~!! Not in tampines. The girl offered to change with me. But my superior said that sometimes we will rotate one. So means like for 2 months I will be in raffles, and 2 months I will be in tampines. But for now cause things have not yet stablise in tampines, and I think it wont stablise for another few months. So for now I will be in raffles ^^V

Was feeling very tired this past week, so did not online. After dinner I straight went to sleep already.. I think my body not used to waking up early la hahaha.. Still in my 'tai tai' life mode. =P

Hey all.. I finally went down to raffles place yesterday to sign my letter of appointment. I'll be starting work this coming monday- 19 June. After that I went to ABN and meetup with Michie, Celeste and Chiu Seah. Seems that the politics is getting from bad to worst. Haiz.. That stupid pumpkin is the one who started all this! Poor Daph.. I really sympathize with her. She worked for so long to climb all the way up, and now becos of 1 stupid lady her career is going down down down. I wonder if she is looking for any other jobs.. =P

Thereafter, I went to Orchard shopping alone. Walked for awhile den decided to cut hair. Looked for my stylist in Far East Plaza but she was not working today. So I went to Hair Profile and got my hair cutted by Audrey's stylist- Elaine. I din really like the hairstyle but Wendy and Darling said it was nice, something different. Her style of cutting is like wild and sexy kind.

But I still prefer my hair stylist hehe.. If you like this kind of cut I would highly reccomend her. Elaine is working at Hair Profile @ Far East Plaza Basement.

Immediately after my hair is done.. I was hit by a bout of terrible sneezes. I started having headaches, my body feeling cold. After awhile I felt feverish. So went to Burger King to sit and do finish my jap homework. I felt worst and worst as I was sitting outside with all the smoke. But I din wan to go in cos the aircon was worst.

After that I slowly proceed to my jap class and during the break, I asked my sensei for panadol. Felt slightly better after that but it got worst when I was on the way home. Slept immediately after I reached home. Now still feeling abit feverish, but not as bad as yday.

I wonder if I can make it for my facial appointment later at 12.45pm. I dun wan to spread the virus to everyone! Maybe I will ask my mother to postphone the appointment to tmr.

I told my mother that my friends are plannin to go Japan nxt year.. She asked me to go with my friends! Weeee~ And she said to bring my sister along if she can save enough money Wahahahaha~! See lor if she can save $3k by nxt year. =P

I will be getting some dresses from HK soon for my cousin's wedding dinner @ shangri la. Anyone interested? There is a 15% discount if I get more den 10 dresses =P.

For my Phuket trip, I was torn between 2 hotel choices. 1 is Deevana resort and spa, and other is Burasari Hotel. I finally decided on Deevana resort and spa as I was seduced by their private jacuzzi in the room. This hotel's location is not very good as it is quite far away from the shopping centres and resturants etc. At that time it seemed alright cos I was planning to rent a car and drive around Phuket.

Burasari's rooms are damn nicely decorated and the location is good. Near to the beach and cafes. As I was reading through Flowerpod, someone said that Burasari has offered her early check-in at 7am.

I quickly emailed Directrooms.com to enquire if Deevana offers early check-in as my flight will reach Phuket airport at 7.30am. Unfortunately they said that I will have to pay for another night if I want to check in at 7am. Ridiculous. So I replied saying that paying for another night is not feasible and asked them to check for me if Burasari can offer early check in.

Here's their reply:
Regarding your request early check-in, we would like to advise you that early check out are not guaranteed and subject to availability upon arrival only.

You nimcompoot. It's so bloody obvious that you did not even check for me and just replied something out of the book.

But yeah.. I know that the only way to gurantee early check-in is to pay for another night. So how... What you guys think? Should I go for Deevana or Burasari?? >.< HELP!!

Went for interview yesterday, and got the job on the spot! Woo hoo~ Is working for UOB Trades division as customer service. The interviewer din really ask much questions.. Mostly he is talking about himself and about the office and the job. Only ask me what I did when I was in ABN. Told him answer enquiries all tis. But he seems like not very interested in my answers. Haha.. Keep wanting to talk about himself -.-"

After he cfm me, he ask me negotiate salary with HR myself.. He got ask me wat is my expected salary, I told him 1.6-1.7. He said i only got experience with a temp job.. Den afterwards he say shld be ok la, ask me negotiate myself. Dunno what he mean.. Is it that the pay is only 1.5 den he ask me negotiate myself.. -.-"

I will be working in Tampines leh.. Zzzz everyone say good cause can go for dinner and supper. But nobody wanna fetch me home leh.. Boo Hoo~~ Wan to eat but dun wan send me home.. Where got like tat one! >.<

At least is not 1 setback after another. Yday fail driving but today got a job. Lolx.. Think God starting to pity me liao wahahaha

Wah piang.. everything went wrong today. I think heaven dun like me la.. Of all the times must at that exact time heavy rain. Bloody hell...

FAIL LA... Reason for failure?? CHECK TOO MUCH BLIND SPOT. Case closed.. Nothing to say.. KNS.. Next test date on 30 Aug. GAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok la.. not really everything went wrong. In circuit was ok. My circuit no mistakes. But once out of road dunno y.. like cannot perform sia. And the fking heavy rain. Not drizzle leh.. is HEAVY HEAVY RAIN. Make me cannot see the road. But afew mins after my test den begin to lighten up. Haiz.. Not my day la.. Haha

I was not able to turn out of BBDC, got quite a number of cars. Den tester later say the car wave to let me go, I never go.. I cant see the car inside ler, I was bz looking at the side for a chance to turn out. Den he say I never look.. Quite hard to see into the car leh.. Heavy rain so I only look at car body lor. I dun look inside every car that passed me.

Den after that infront got a bus. I see the bus going to move off soon, so I wait for it to go off lor. Den when come back he say I nvr overtake the bus. I was like 'duh'.. Ok lor.. I am very patient one. I not as impatient as him. Everything also wan to overtake. I am safe driver ok. Haha..

My mistakes: I drove too near the kerb when turning left. The tyre went into the hole bside the road. Lolx.. And I moved off in wrong gear. Forgot to change back to gear 1. Gah.. Cos the stick in gear 3.. Den I tot I alrdy put to gear 1 >.<

Also I think I did not change up the gear enough. Cos of the heavy rain I couldn't hear the engine. Some parts I shld change to gear 3 I din.

Mistakes he ticked but I dun agree: Insufficient acceleration. He even ask me not to press so much acceleration, must coordinate with the clutch. Check blind spot too long. Delay in moving off. I seriously dun recall this leh. Somemore got 2 ticks. Maybe is during the turning I guess.. =(

Stupid la.. I calculate my ticks i got 22 points. He go and write 26. Pissed..

Gah.. my TP test is tomorrow! *Prays to pass it smoothly* I made a record today- I knocked down 3 poles! *Grasp* I booked 2 lessons continously. During the 1st lesson was ok, but in the 2nd lesson I think I abit tired already.. And the clutch damn stiff lor! My 1st circuit was ok. Den went out to the road.. Starting to be abit tired liao. After that go back circuit and do the courses again. That's when I knocked down the poles. Haha.. So malu!

Trying to comfort myself saying that I was too tired la.. So I wont lose my confidence tomorrow. Please also pray for me hor.. Pray got no cars, pray for good weather. Thanks! =)

Went down to PC show and bought the Panasonic FX01 in Pink!! I am a happy girl! I tried taking night shots but the quality not good leh.. But at least the day shots wont shake as much la.. If not everytime go overseas, I take for other people nice nice picture, den they take picture of me like shit.

It seems that the Casio Exilim S600 anti-shake is much better. This FX01 only reduces jitter, but is not antishake. Haiz.. But Casio dun have pink! =D

Not bad la.. $699 with all the freebies. And I got another original battery for free! Plus 1 more silicon case.. Not much use for that. Actually the girl says can give me another 1gb SDCard one. So I went all the way to suntec tower 2 to draw $$. Den come back she say cannot give liao.. Only can give either SDCard or batt. =(

I din go to work today.. Sian leh.. thinking of me standing there for so long and repeating like a robot "Laptop for you sir? Laptop for you mdm?" damn turn off. My sister also not going to the PC show anymore. Haha.. Hope Oink Oink dun come down and find me today. Everyone also tell me not to go.. Pay damn suxs!

Maybe I can go for another driving lesson today. *Goes to check BBDC webby for training slots* Dun have anymore slots le.. T.T Why BBDC so popular meh.. The earliest slot is on 9th June leh! ~.~

GAHHHHHHH~~~~ I'm seriously not cut out for sales la.. Alot of people say I should try sales, but I know I dun like it. Yesterday further strengthened this. I din managed to sell any laptops. So means.. I am only paid $20 standing there and distributing pamphlets. I might as well go for the brochure distributing job. At least that one I can get $54 per day! =(

And also, people ask me questions about the product I dunno how to reply lor! I told them I cant make it for tues's training. They tell me nvm, you come earlier on thurs den train me. I rushed and reached there on the spot at 10am. My leader, Lai Xiang brought me in den ask me to wait. So I wait lor.. Wait until 11am den ask us to start. I was like.. What the.. I dun even have product knowledge! Den nvm.. I take the brochures and read myself. Fucked up leh!

Quite demoralized. But maybe because that was the 1st day of the pc show, so most of them just come and survey + look see. Hopefully I will be able to sell some this saturday..

Yesterday I saw a new digicam from panasonic. FX01. Very nice lor.. (Got pink!)

It has a 28mm wide angle lens, 6mgp, 4x optical zoom and anti shake. $699 with 1GB SDCard, camera case, cleaning kit, screen protector, mini tripod and a binoculars. Not too bad right? I am going to ask the girl for a discount and more free gifts before I buy.. Keke..

Oh ya, do you know that prices in PC show can bargain one? Next time you guys go PC show dun just buy, must haggle the price more and ask for more free gifts! ;)

Heya all good morning~!! I guess most of you will be suprised when you visit my blog(if you ever visit) cause it hasnt been updated in a nong~ nong~ time...

Well, have been bored and sitting on my ass lately so got time to blog. Have been unemployed for the past ~3-4 months. HELP!! Gah.. sent out afew resumes, went for afew interviews. I think I'm being too choosey ~.~

Anyway, I have a temp job for now in the upcoming PC show @ suntec. 1-4 June. Will only be working on 1st(thurs) and 3rd(sat) cause I have driving on the other days. I'll be selling HP laptops. Please please come look for me if you are buying a laptop! The pay sucks big time! $20 basic/day and $20 commission for each laptop sold. *can hear afew of you thinking Pathetic~! Yea I know.. But what is an unemployed gal with an empty bank account to do? *grumbles* So help me out if you can ya..? ;)

I also registered for japanese classes. Starting on 8th June @ Bunka. So excited!! I've wanted to study jap since a nong nong time ago.. Finally have the chance le! Yea~~

Going to Phuket with darling in september. Wanted to celebrate my bday in either Redang or Phi Phi island. But too bad nov is monsoon season for redang. More-ever Tiger airways got promo for airtix to Phuket. $0.88 only!! Cheap right! Total I paid for 2 pax return flight is only $170. And hotel is not too bad also, $74 per night at Deevana resort and spa. Why I choose that hotel? Hmmm... Cos it comes with attached private jacuzzi!! Kakaka.. Oh ya, I am travelling in Sept cause the promo is only valid for flights till oct, and when I tried to book oct's flight, no more! Bah..

I guess that's it for my major updates.. Still slacking and rotting my ass off. Msn-ing with friends and watching animes, movies and wat-not.

Just had a talk with darling and we sorted everything out! Sorry for losing my temper so easily, but please try to understand where I stand too..

This afternoon went to orchard gai gai with wendy. I influenced her to buy Laneige cosmetics hahaha.. But dun worry! I am very sure you will like this brand. It will be worth every penny! =)

I hope I can go to Korea again sometime.. As we did not really visit the whole of Korea in that few days. I want to go to Jeju Island the next time round. And also to buy more Laneige products and do shopping shopping and more shopping! Hehe.. But have to save as the things there are definately not cheap.. >.< All in all.. I will really recommend everyone to go there. Yes the things are exp, but the scenery, experience, culture and the food are definately an eye opener! The toilets in Korea are sooooo much cleaner den Singapore's(really!).

Ok I better stop before I keep going on and on.. Going to sleep now~ Nighty nitez everyone..

Bad Day...

Yday was a very very horrible day for me. Broke down after a particularly nasty customer called.

Today was worst. Early in the morning I called darling becos I want to hear his voice as he did not call me yesterday. I wanted to tell him how much I missed him. I wanted to tell him I dreamt of him yday night. I wanted to tell him how idiot tat customer was and I wanted him to comfort me. Tried many many times but the line just refused to connect. Finally after several attempts the line was connected.

He is going to the Great Ocean Road today. I would appreciate it if he had called and told me yesterday about this. Like share his plans with me, or how did his day went.. At least although I am not with him I can feel and imagine that I am with him all the time. He just went without telling me. Everytime he has a plan he just doesnt want to share it with me. Why? I guess he think he will call me after he has went and come back. I just feel left out ok? How would you feel if I just went off to msia with my friends and when I came back den I tell you about it?

I told him I dreamt of him. But I think he finds it embarrassing to have a conversation with me infront of his frens. So he did not want to ask me wat did I dream about. He keeps quiet and was very vague with his answers. He told me he will call me tonite. Hello? I am not your mistress ok? Why cant we have a normal conversation infront of your frens? Why do you always only want to tok to me when you are alone and no one is around you? Why?

Yday was very uneventful.. And lonely.. And boring.. Haiz.. Dateless during a public holiday sucks! Everyone going out with their bf/gf and being sooo lovey dovey.. *Shudders

Am sitting in the office now. I will be going live this afternoon! Now waiting for Kelvin to come. He's shift is starting at 11am. Hope he is sick today or smt so that we dun haf to go live hahaha..

I miss khim. Again. Zzzz.. Just now the radio was playing liang jin ru's Ning Jing de Xia Tian. Made me think of him. >.<

Yday he showed me a picture of the house he is staying at. Its very nice! But too bad there's no garden. I hope that I will be able to go and see him some time.. Will have to take some off days to go and visit him since there is no incentives if we do not take leave. ^^V

I have already thought of what to wear when I fetch him at the airport. Hehe.. I think he will like it. Love you! =)

Blog Layout

Hey people.. Have just finished up with the blog layout. How is it? I think it's pretty neat! I got the idea from a layout from blogskins.com and changed the graphics and words to my own.

The actual phrase for my layout should be "When you look at me, when you think of me, I am in Paradise"

But the amount of words made the layout look messy, so I amended it to just a simple "I am in Paradise.. My Arcadia"

This picture is really nice ya? Gives you the feeling of really being in a fantasy, unhabited place of surreal peace. That's what I want my blog to feel like. I think I did quite a good job of it! ^^V

Ok.. enough of the layout, now on to the actual blog itself. I have decided to keep this blog strictly private - meaning only selected people will be able to have access to it. But just for the fun of it, I will also put up this new address in my previous blog. So that my past 'loyal' fans who actually made the effort to periodically check on my old blog will have access to this. Hehe.. ^^V

I have so many things to update.. But I do not know where to start. I have just started a completely new phrase of life! I have just graduated from NYP, and am now embarking onto work life. When I tell people I am working in a bank, most of them will go O.O! I think because of the fact that I am actually holding an IT diploma. Haha.. But I really wanted to try customer service jobs, that's why I agreed to sign on as a phone banking officer at ABN Amro.

The pay is decent, the new people who have been employed together with me are really nice! But I cant say much for the work environment.. I guess big companies are like that, the people look kinda stuck up and snobbish. Well, I dun step on their toes can le.

I am now still undergoing training. This is my 1st week and next week they expect us to go live! They initially told us that we will be given 2 weeks to train. But now they expect us to be ready in 5 days! Imagine the stress and information overload I had to endure for the past week.. I just completed a test on friday. Hope I did well in it.. Kelvin (the person who is training us) told me he was quite impressed with my answers, but I hope he isnt lying! Cos for the system questions which I dun know, I anyhow tikum one. Haha..

But actually I'm quite excited to be going live so soon. All of my teammates have experience in this line before.. Except for me. This is my first job. I am nervous too.. I do not know how to react or how to answer accordingly as I am new to all the banking terms! But I will do my best! Gambatte emi chan!!

It's just been a week since khim left.. Just one week and I missed him so much already.. How can I endure the many months I will be alone!! And now he can't just travel back every weekend to see me.. I really missed him badly. Please come back quickly..

My trip to Korea

It was fantastic! I had a really great time! Except when my digital camera dropped on the floor and broke.. It had me down for quite some time and I even had a quarrel with khim on the trip. Haiz..

The things are reallyyyyy expensive!! One pair of normal looking high heels costed SGD70! And the more prettier ones are at least $80-$100. The bags are also ard the range of $50++. Even the biscuits and tidbits are expensive. One small packet costed like $9-$15.

But the clothes are really nice.. Bought a few and a very very pretty bag! I think 70% of my money is spent on clothes. And I bought like only around 4 clothings..

And also.. I bought a bracelet from a amethyst factory. It was the most expensive item I spurge on in Korea. It cost around USD150. But it is really sweet and definately well worth the price as you cannot find this kind of design in Singapore. And more-ever, it is made of real amethyst(which is supposed to bring u good luck) and white gold.

I will put up some of the korea pictures up tomorrow when I figure how to use the new blogger imaging feature.

That's it for now.. Its quite late now(1.45am) and I'm getting sleepy.. Haiz.. Another lonely night..
